Report: North Korea again helping Syria with chemical

Quote:
North Korea has resumed its assistance to Syria for the installation of chemical warheads on ballistic missiles, a Tokyo newspaper reported.

Pyongyang has resumed the transfer of chemical weapons technology to Syria for the assembly of nonconventional missile warheads, according Asian security sources. They said the effort focused on the installation and testing of chemical warheads for the Scud C and Scud D extended-range missiles.

On Monday, the Tokyo-based Sankei daily reported that North Korea, after a break of four months, renewed the assistance to Damascus. In November 2007, Sankei said, a North Korean delegation briefed Syria's military on techniques to weaponize chemical agents in Scud C warheads.
Don't worry...

...The UN's in charge...They'll take care of this...

But didn't Syria send a representative to meet with President Bush?
No wait... I'm confused.

Terrible comparison...

The USA has to intervene when the UN lacks the nads, credibility, gumption, resolve and fortitude to accomplish anything...

Just look at Iraq...If the UN did their job the US would've never had to lift a finger...The SECOND Saddam kicked the UN inspectors out in '98 the UN should've gone after Saddam relentlessly...

Instead, they let it slide...just like the dozen+ UN resolutions Saddam failed to live up to...

Irrelevant of whether one thinks the US is better or worse for doing anything, the overall point is that they DID something at all compared to the organization that's supposed to...

The US has been one of the biggest supporters of terrorist groups/nations. The US only intervenes when it's in its interest to do so. Yes, just take a look at Iraq, it was the US that supported and helped place Saddam in office. Did you know that Saddam was once on the CIA's payroll? Do I need to mention Noriega, who also was a paid asset of the CIA? These two men have cause the death of many thousands of innocent people in their own Country, thanks to the USA.

Your logic is the standard blindness I've come across multiple times...

The only time America backs undesirable elements are when the alternative is MORE undesireable and there are no desirable options present...

If you have a choice between someone who kills 50,000 of their own people and wants to start a war with America and someone who kills 50,000 of their own people and does NOT want to start a war with America, the choice is very clear...A third option would be great, but when there isn't one available, staying out of it with the possibility of the first option happening would cause much more damage than intervening on the second option's behalf...

But instead of understanding that , you went with the usual and superficial Frankenstein answer...

"America backs a bad man=bad America"...

Awww...doesn't quite live up to your utopian theory of John Lennon's Imagine where we all sit down by the fire singing "Turn Turn Turn" and swinging the tambourine?...

You have only proved a universal truth about human nature, which is deny as much as possible any responsibility for what I have done. It takes more carriage to say I/we were wrong, and then take steps not to repeat it than to come up with an excuse.

Proverbs 21:2 (KJV)
2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.
