Default roadside bomb killed three American

3 more and yet Iraq isn't as deadly as Afghan is today. Yes it is another Viet-Nam. The Brits, are the only other Nato country that gets it. yes a few others promise a few hundred more troops. But we will be sending 10,000 more men next year if things don't get worst in Iraq.

3 Americans killed, Shiite fighting in south: 3 Americans killed, Shiite fighting in south - Yahoo! News

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed three American soldiers and an interpreter north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said Wednesday, and Iraqi police reported 14 Shiite gunmen were arrested after fighting south of the capital.

In Baghdad, meanwhile, American soldiers using specially trained dogs sifted through the wreckage Wednesday of an office in Sadr City where a bomb killed 10 people, including four Americans working to restore local government in the former Shiite militia stronghold.

The Iraqi Defense Ministry spokesman suggested that Iraqi officials — and not the Americans — were the main target.

At least 25 service members have died this month, with eight deaths coming since Friday. May's death tally of 19 was the lowest monthly toll of the Iraq conflict.

Also Wednesday, U.S. soldiers in Baghdad killed three gunmen who fired on an American convoy that had stopped along the side of the road just west of the city's airport, the U.S. said. No further details were released.

I think they have stopped reporting it on MSNBC

So that is why I used Yahoo.News. And why would they not report the news/truth?

There are more important issues. Like newly wed brides missing from cruise ships. You know. Real important news. And I understand Kanye West is upset about some other important stuff.

How about taking a look at ALL of what's going on in Iraq?? Doubtful that you'd ever make the effort needed to do that, because doing so would expose you to the possibility that just maybe you might be wrong that freeing ~20,000,000 million people from oppression was a bad thing to do.

I still haven't seen a good reason for going in to Iraq. I mean if we are going to use the argument that we saved people. We start down a whole new road of dicussion. Like who needs help worse. Iraqis with food ,water and houses. Or some other group without any of those things.

Part of the point is WHAT IT COSTS Americans...

And when you look at "ALL" of what's going on, including the $1-2 trillion price tag, the 4,000+ dead soldiers, the total number of years we'll have to dedicate to the issue, and the fact that we have actually INCREASED the Iraqi casualty rate ...

The REAL underlying issue is IS IT WORTH IT...

You quoted one days worth of events.
That day cost the American tax-payers $720,000,000.
War Costing $720 Million Each Day, Group Says - washingtonpost.com

There is a bill in Congress right now that wants to help 400,000 mortgage owners for $300 billion.
That's 1 year and two months in Iraq...
And while I personally question the bill's purpose, I can't help but think of all that money we are throwing at Iraq, that COULD be going to helping America in OUR time of crisis.

Is it WORTH it?

And Afghanistan, with a higher death toll and the pentagon working harder to get a grip there isn't important news.
Excuse me MSNBC but up yours! I find all th e news worth hearing can be forund on Lou Dobbs. Mix in some of th eother views for an open look. But all I need is Lou Dobbs.

I can't disagree with you as I have said this myself several times.

But the war on terror is in Afghanistan not Iraq! I have also said this repeatedly. Now if we walk away from that too I don't mine. All I lost on 9/11 is my feeling of security, over 3 thousand of my fellow citizens and knowing I will never again have the view I had when I lived back east. The sun setting between two tall buildings. Yea that isn't worth bring down the filth that did it once and will do it again. I just hope it is not my city. Your city is OK as any other city in America. But not Topeka! Then I want to hear more from any of you!
