Great idea! Except I thought we were primarily fighting Al Qaeda in Iraq, and they weren't there prior to our arrival, so we're not really fighting Iraqis, we're protecting them.

You should have said, 'Maybe we can get the Chinese to fight the Iranians and Syrians and other radical Islamists for us.'

The problem with outsourcing the military would be two-fold:

1) We don't have enough jobs for our soldiers to come back to and
2) If we pay the Chinese to fight our wars the price of everything else goes up. We can only milk cheap Chinese labor for so much as long as they have that pesky 1 baby per woman rule goin' on.

Michael1 just to point out from what I have read or heard Al-Qaida is less than 3% of our battle in Iraq. But 100% of our fight in Afghanistan, where the real war on terror is taking place. If one doesn't count the over the boarder tactics used by Al-Qaida uses with Pakistan.
