Hey Nancy Thin Skin, that wasn't an attack on Clinton. Clinton just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and carried out the standing policy that his predecesors had used. The few attacks that occurred prior to his admin were pretty uncoordinated and by many different players.

You should give a poop, there are so many reasons why this could and proably end badly fo the US.

Turns out that the "firm" represents more than HALF of the prisoners from YEMEN.

Also turns out Eric Holder was a "senior partner".

Yeah but it's the things one does that matters, like urging the release of the Puerto Rican terrorist. Urging the pardon of Mark Rich. All things through the legal system, all things that should have disqualified Holder. And then his performance in defending his decision to try the terrorist here just icing on the cake.

Everyone has been perfectly clear about what they are worried about, why do you try to paint it different?

Holder has worked for the firm that has represented more of these terrorist than any other. Holder urged the pardoning of the Puerto Rican terrorist.

Give me a reason to be confident he is the man to prosecute terrorist in a court of law?

From Covington & Burling's own website..

So the attorney general who spent quality career time with a law firm attacking the government's position on Gitmo detainees is now in a position to give this very same law firm a national spotlight in attacking the government...

Anyone think Holder switched 180 degrees and became a defender of America or do you believe that he's now working against America from the inside now that he has the sacred Obama blessing?...

On top of that, does anyone here logically believe that an attorney general should have the authority to let this conflict of interest stand?...

Will Obama supporters ever question why Obama would hire a guy as attorney general whose law firm took the time defending people whose intention was to kill Americans?...
Did you think he would hire someone with a different take on the situation at Gitmo than he himself holds?
Bush hired an oil man cause that was his interest. Obama hired a civil rights advocate because that is where his feelings lie.

How about one without a conflict of interest in the matter?

What interest did Bush have in oil? What did he do for oil? And Cheney was never an "oil man".

So why can't he hire one without a conflict of interest and who has shown such a terrible judgement when it comes to terrorist and should we hold them in jail
