The Congressional Black Caucus Is Blocking A Black Republican From Joining The Group

Quote:
The Congressional Black Caucus is blocking membership to Rep. Byron Donalds, a Republican from Florida who has tried to join the organization, a source familiar with the CBC's plans told BuzzFeed News.

It’s been six months since the members who won election in 2020 were inducted into the CBC, a powerful and nominally nonpartisan group of Black lawmakers in Congress. Donalds, who won election for the first time last year, has not been included in that group.

The Florida representative’s office said Donalds has talked to at least three members of the CBC about joining the group, whose members are now at the forefront of police reform talks and responsible for highlighting the racial inequities around COVID-19. He’s not received an answer and the likelihood of that happening a quarter way into the 117th Congress looks bleak.

“Congressman Donalds has expressed interest in joining the CBC, but has yet to receive an official invitation,” said a Donalds aide. “If given, he’d gladly accept.” The CBC did not respond to questions about the status of Donalds’ membership, or why he was not being let in.
Besides the obvious hypocracy of a racial identity group blocking someone of their mown organization's race, there's a reason, I'm guessing, why Donalds is being blocked...

Imagine if someone on the Right with direct knowledge of the ACTUAL conversations that are held within the group...Donalds would be privy to the things the group keeps from the public, and if he were to point these things out, it could sabotage the group's deceptive thoughts...In simple terms, the CBC believes he'd be a spy...

He could be a spy sure. But more likely, and even worse, Congressman Donalds common sense might be a "disturbance" in the force.

The black Caucus is very openminded to people who believe exactly as they do.

well then it's not racial identity is it? It's a political group.

Would you prefer them to rubber stamp every black candidate instead.....?

I kind of like the idea of excluding some radicals of any race....

First, their definition of "radical" is "anyone who doesn't demand full government control of everything"...

Second...and pointing out the main point yet again...

The name is a LIE...If they changed their name to the TRUTH, such as "Congressional Far-Left Black Caucus" or "Congressional Liberal Black Caucus" or "Congressional Groupthink Black Caucus", then they'd be more honest and transparent...

The DNC is FULL of radicals. The rubber stamp is FOR radicals. They rubber
stamp EVERY black person, as long as they follow the pre described narrative.

They do not allow diverse thought, and they are NOT inclusive.

The NAACP also does not allow Republicans, a great man once said that
the word Liberal should be added between the A and C, so it would be more accurate.

Right, Democrats hate private business especially small businesses.

I think you responded to the wrong post again, since the one you replied to said nothing about private businesses, or hating them.

Political groups that include a race or ethnic group in their name are worth a bag of bullshlt.

Retorts from the liberal peanut gallery will be entertained for a while.
