Default Nancy Pelosi and Donald Trump

I just heard Nancy Pelosi on Fox News Sunday, this morning. And she reinforced what I already believed: She is surely the least bipartisan Speaker of the House, within my lifetime (beginning in 1948).

This is not to say that President Trump is entirely innocent here, either: He has sometimes baited her.

But I think that she has spoken pejoratively of him far more than vice-versa.

Trump is a piece of shlt. Why should Pelosi treat him with any respect?

Because he is President Trump and the leader of the party that controls the Senate. Last I checked the House needs to work with the President and the Senate to get things done for the American people. Nancy Pelosi has elected to descend into the toxic sewer of Resistance hatred where no comity or negotiation is possible. Waaa, Mueller couldn't do it, impeachment failed, now House committee hearings have degraded into travesties where Democrats spin wild accusations then shout down administration witnesses with nonsense like "I reclaim my time".

Although not as vitriolic, Pelosi did the same with Bush43 in 2007 and 2008.

Unlike President Trump, wimpy Bush did not return the feeling, so we did not see as much public conflict.

One of the biggest problems with this Trump catastrophe is people and institutions acting like we need to respect the office of president, no matter the flaws with the office holder. That's why we have many major media institutions still refusing to use words like "lies" to describe the many false statements from Trump and refusing to explicitly acknowledge when he says genuinely stupid and irrational things. When the president is a corrupt idiot, it is vitally important that anyone in a position to get the message out make that clear.

Sorry, Wrong again Counselor. The Office should be respected. The occupant can be changed every four years at the will of the people. But the Office of President remains the same in our government and therefore should be respected. By the Congress. By the career bureaucrats. By the people. And by the occupant.

PERIOD.

The groups most prominently disrespecting the office of president are the voters, right-wing media types and Republican officials who thought that a stupid TV game show host was capable of holding that office.

After 11 successful years creating and holding some of the successful TV "reality" styles shows, you insist on calling him "stupid." And then, there is the Hotels, Golf clubs, tis magnate Billionaire has created, who just got lucky?

Yeah Right.

Good or bad, Trump proves daily he is hardly "stupid."

So far he has outsmarted the best the left has to offer, even a mental giant such as yourself.

While I have zero love for Pelosi and agree that she is basically 100% one sided, I would contend/argue that Newt Gingrich back in 1995-1999 was every bit as non bipartisan as Nancy is today.....

Don't recall him having anything good to say about president Clinton back then....
