Default White House, Senate strike deal on historic $2T coronavirus relief bill, but House su

After protracted negotiations requiring Senators to gasp, work extended hours and over the weekend, the Senate has reached an agreement on a Corona virus stimulus bill.

Quote:
White House and Senate leaders reached a historic deal shortly after midnight Wednesday on a massive $2 trillion coronavirus relief package for workers and businesses, although support in the House of Representatives remained uncertain as one member openly criticized the plan.

The bipartisan breakthrough in the Senate capped days of heated negotiations that had nearly been derailed by last-minute demands from House Democrats.
No word yet on how much of the Democrats election rigging or green new deal was included in the final Senate bill. But there is concern if the House will insist on passing the bill as is or insist on holding relief hostage to the radical Leftist agenda of the Squad.

Just a few days ago Senate Democrats were confident they'd be able to force President Trump and Republicans to accept unrelated partisan agenda items such as racial profiling of corporate boards and virtually unrestricted voting in Federal elections as the price of Chinese virus relief. But it now appears in the Senate at least Democrat intransigence has abated. Perhaps recent polling explains the phenomena.

Quote:
Gallup: Trump job approval soars 12 net points to 49-45, the best net approval of his entire presidency.

His approval by party:
Republicans 92 (+1)
Independents 43 (+8)
Democrats 13 (+6)

60% of Americans approve of his handling of coronavirus against 38% who do not.
Despite the barrage of hateful propaganda ginned up by Democrats and their media toadies President Trump's handling of the crisis has increased his approval rating. No wonder an increasingly desperate Joe Biden has launched a campaign of second guessing the POTUS during a crisis. Too bad his political ambitions have overwhelmed any consideration of helping people impacted by the crisis.
