I think some of them are trying to claim that they themselves did not make those sales but some third party who manages their stocks did the sales without their knowledge. If these four are the only ones whose stock was sold before the crisis then its extremely kind of hard to buy into the line that they had nothing to do with their stocks being sold.Because how did those people know? If people outside the briefing and had no knowledge of this briefing were selling stocks too then it might be believable that they had no knowledge. I am sure someone in the media could look that up and straight up tell Inhoff, Pelosi or whoever that they are lying their ass off and supplied that info to their stock managers(or what ever those people are called)..
