Default Rep. Tlaib Retweets: ‘F**k a National Day of Prayer’

You can just cut the class with a knife...

Rep. Tlaib Retweets: ‘F**k a National Day of Prayer’

Quote:
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) at the weekend retweeted a post on Twitter which said in part “F**k a National day of prayer,” in relation to President Trump’s call for Americans of all faiths to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus outbreak.

Late Saturday, anti-gun activist David Hogg posted a tweet, saying, “Don’t let this administration address COVID-19 like our national gun violence epidemic. F**k a National day of prayer, we need immediate comprehensive action.”

Tlaib, a Palestinian-American and one of the first two Muslim women to be elected to the U.S. Congress, retweeted it, without comment.
Hogg’s tweet linked to a video clip from Saturday’s briefing of the White House coronavirus taskforce.

In that clip, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson said, “Now, President Trump is going to be recommending a National Day of Prayer. And, you know, we’ve gotten away from prayer and faith a lot in this country.”
Another example of "When they go low, we go high."...

I hope, massively, that people actually understand the damage people full of venom and hatred can do.

I hope that her supposed constituents now see the anger and hatred this person puts forth.

I truly hope that enough people see it, and make the right decision when election time comes.

The party and people who complain that Trump is crude, rude and not "Presidential" support her without question or shame.

Shame on them!!!!

Their hypocrisy is their badge of honor. Since they are from the Left, their "heroes" can do no wrong.

Rep Tlaib is absolutely right. **** a national day of prayer. I want to see this white house do something productive to help Americans fight this pandemic. Instead we get nothing but more lies and gaslighting and a 'national day of prayer.' what a joke republicans are. you guys go pray and get out of the way and let people who actually want to work and do something to stop this pandemic take over.

I can't believe Graham Jr is pandering to this crowd. His dad was, I believe, a dedicated servant of his faith. Falwell, however, is a chip off the old block.
Of course, Dj Trump is not a Christian; he uses Christianity to hold evangelical support.

From the reaction, seems like we need to pray for more Americans to trust God in general.

It seems some folks just have hate for Trump and his supporters,
and ZERO trust, reverence or belief in God.

If they had more reverence of God than hate for Trump, then at the very least they'd say we could do BOTH.
That is, PRAY and WORK for solutions.
the 2 aren't mutually exclusive.
But for some reason the mention of God only brings curses and profanity from them.

Just on a practical level i don't get that reaction, not during what they call a horrific "crisis!".
Seems to me you want to get help from anywhere, I bet if a some painted Shaman wanted an anti virus dance on the white house lawn or a bunch of Musical Celebrities wanted a concert at the white house for the Corona Virus cure they'd reverently take a day for that.
But mention God?!!
"#&$^#@#*!! *$^#&84!!! "

Trump may be a scumbag to many people and have many issues but I don't think he's overtly mocked God. In that much, he's got more sense than some on the left.

May God have mercy on us all.

I am not a member of an organized religion, but there is no need to disrespect any religion that (in current times) harms none.

Considering that the US is considered a 'Christian Nation', exactly what harm is there in having a 'National Day of Prayer'? Don't like it, don't participate.

People are critically ill, people are dying, our lives have been turned upside down in a matter of a month or so. Those that say **** that, are the epitome of hypocrisy - cry and wail about illegals being denied entry into this country, but spit on those who are here as citizens and are being affected by this virus.
