Sounds good but we all know it won't happen. So we are left with the question of whether the $100 Million went to create smarter students or more radical students.

And why hasn't the media looked at this in detail?

Because they have bigger fish to fry like Blago and Obama's choice of evangelical pastor Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at the presidential inauguration...

Oh you mean "during" the campaign? I dunno...mayhaps they were a little "busy" then too...

I guess they weren't busy enough to please everyone!

But in a choice between a loyal American well meaning, big hearted guy vs a brilliant but sneaky guy who may have alternate and competing agendas than that of doing what's best for America, I'd choose the loyal American.

And it is just too friggin bad that Obama has been denied the benefit of the doubt but we are at war and he has too many question marks for anyone to trust him.

I like him, though.

FWIW.

You don't seem to get it.

Do you know what the function of the free press has been in our system of government?

This is the first time in history they did not do what they have traditionally done.

They abdicated their role of protecting our nation. They ALWAYS dig and search and investigate ALL candidates so that the American public will know who it is we are voting for or against.

Except in the case of Obama, where they just friggin stopped doing their duty.

It's like a sentry leaving his post without being relieved by the next sentry.

They just stopped doing what they were supposed to do and didn't care if the job got done or not.

They failed America.

Please tell me you understand this important lapse by the media.

There was NOTHING else they could have done that was more important at the time.

Did the media fail America when Bush was elected? The so called liberaly biased evil media fell down on the job and Gore lost same with Kerry. You can't have it "both" ways...you see...we knew a lot about Obama and much of it came out BEFORE the election!!! And when the information came out...people refused to believe that Obama was an American citizen..some STILL refuse to believe it.Others saw this style of attack for what it was, partisan garbage.

No..not all of the voting public is stupid but they are sick of right wing dribble. You see...the American people most likely voted AGAINST the GOP more than they voted FOR Obama!!!

Now you know the rest of the story....DEAL WITH IT...your flip flopping candidate...LOST the election due to the GOP's loss of brand and a poorly run McCain campaign.

McCain DID run a poor campaign. However, with as much as was going against him I'm surprised the final vote was as close as it was.

But there is a long list of questions about Obama's past that STILL haven't been answered.

Say what you will about GWB, whatever bad there was about him had certainly been thoroughly investigated by the press.

But you can't easily face the fact that Obama got a free pass.

You just wanted Obama no matter what.

I sensed that during the campaign.

Funny...nobody else sensed that about me. I was one of Obama's severest critics for at least 2/3 of the campaign! I challenged him and his association with the Rev Wright in dozens of posts. In fact...people were shocked when I switched from Bob Barr to Obama! It is wrong to assume that "everyone" who voted for Obama is misinformed and stupid. What brought me into Obama's camp? McCain did...I saw problems with some of his judgment or lack thereof and it got worse..much worse! When Obama picked Biden...that cemented the deal!!! I like gaffer Joe,he's intelligent, experienced even though he has foot in mouth disease.

At any rate...Obama is surrounding himself with some pretty good people. Not all are good mind you but he's made some pretty good moves.

Time will tell...

Oh give up answering this crap. Obama has answered all the questions. If there are more questions I don't know what they are. We know less about Bush then we do about Obama. We go on about Obama's preacher. Bush's preacher was a phony. He was having gay sex and doing drugs while preaching the horror of homosexuality and drugs. And he hung out with Bush often. What does that say about Bush. Nothing. Nobody ever blamed Bush for Ted Haggards nonsense. End of the day these guys are trying to run their hate wagon without any fuel. So they use phrases like."There are still questions out there" It doesn't mean ****. Its used as a hopeful phrase for the right. They are anxiously waiting for an opportunity to pounce. Like Hyenas. You don't have to justify your vote. Screw em. We made the best choice at the time. Thats all we can do. It doesn't make Obama a saint. It does make us thoughtful and intelligent.
