Trump has 500 or so corporations. What Trump's returns will show is 500 line items reflecting profit loss from those businesses, a listing of personal deductions and possible profits. Maybe some stock trades.

The tax return scam is just a diversion. Nothing more.
Then why doesn't he release them?

This is part II of why no candidate should ever release any part of financial records. It won't be enough, and the same bunch that concocted the Kavanaugh story will do the same here.

See my post above.

But to add, it's nobody's business.

You need to concentrate on 35, natural born citizen, resident.

The thread is about a House investigation of president's taxes. An investigation about nothing.

There are threads about The President's corruption investigations. These too have gone nowhere.

The IRS has a rule about privacy. There is a sound reason for this. We are all individuals with a Constitutional right to privacy in our papers. We can show our tax returns to brag. But that is just foolish. There is nothing American about having to show them to prove innocence.
A whole nuther matter.

And failure to comply with your unreasonable request is proof of nothing but your self indulgence.

Your request to see if there is a crime or a possible connection to something nefarious/unknown is more than unreasonable. It is a violation of HIS RIGHTS for which you, and the nation, have no legitimate reasons or just cause, to ask.

Or have you forgotten that the President of the United States has the same rights s you. If he must relinquish them for your curiosity, then so must you and I.

I cannot speak for you but, I refuse.

As I said before, the reason to get and review his tax returns is to investigate his corruption, to see what information they may provide regarding his debts, the sources of his income and his conflicts of interest. He’s pretty clearly a crook and the American people are entitled to uncover the full scope of his corruption. The tax returns are just the first step.

dow at least creats jobs,
yes as reid stated if lower servants of the people must show their taxes so should the highest position in the land
trump is no better than me or you if we ran for congress or as we are now needing to be transparent about our dealings to keep from the appearance of lack of ethics and to show the american people who we are and we have nothing to hide

The President is a servant of the people. He gives up privacy in many ways. Mostly from the Secret Service protection having to invade his personal space. trump is no better than George Bush or Ronals Reagan or Carter or any who have held that office
the last POTUS who refused to show his taxes was...
can you guess?

Pretty clearly a crook is an opinion. An opinion that doesn't even pass the Mueller test.

Add to that the bolded. Which is the point. Enough will never be enough.

As I said before. The returns will show nothing.

You won't get the tax returns.
