To be fair she is facing a tough race this year but I think it royaly pizzed her off what Grassley did.
btw when asked about the trump statement that " the republicans need to take control of that committee investigation, "
Senator G said "I hope he doesn't call me" looking right into the camera and sopeaking loudly to the microphone.

Just my opinion but I don't believe that Sen. Feinstein's release of Mr. Simpson's testimony had anything to do with her future re-election bid nor will it have any impact on it. I believe it was motivated by three things.

1. Because the American people had the right to know the truth.
2. The testimony debunked Republican and Trump efforts to claim that the FBI investigation, the Mueller investigation, and Christopher Steele memos (dossier) were politically motivated or in anyway related to a witch hunt orchestrated by Democrats frustrated by losing the 2016 election, or that the Steele documents were even the source of the Trump-Russia investigation.
3. That the Steele documents were legitimate intelligence that wasn't even being pursued by Fusion GPS or Christopher Steele that were only addressing the Trump Organizations financial dealings (which is what Fusion GPS specializes in). In fact Christopher Steele's part of the Fusion GPS investigation into the Trump Organizations financial affairs was a vey small part of the actual Fusion GPS investigation. Had it not been for the unexpected results to Steele's inquiries with his contacts it wouldn't have been very notable in the overall investigation.

Senator Grassley had previously stated he was willing to release the testimony if Fusion GPS approved that release. As soon as Fusion GPS formally approved the release of the transcript suddenly Grassley fabricated a reason for withholding the release by falsely stating it could prevent other witnesses from testifying openly before the committee fearing the release of their testimony from behind closed doors. That was pure nonsense because their testimony would not be released without their consent.

Yes, the letter from Grassley and Graham for the FBI to investigate Christopher Steele was outrageous, without any foundation, and a nefarious attempt to distract from the serious criminal investigation of Trump's collusion with the Russians (or more accurately with Putin) and should be condemned by everyone regardless of political party. Fortunately it's very doubtful that the FBI will take it seriously because they know Christopher Steele and have worked with him for many years. I'd assume that Grassley's and Graham's letter will be properly round-filed where it belongs.

Based upon the corruption, brutality, inhumanity, immorality, dishonesty, and incompetence of the Trump administration the White House is the dirtiest house in America and there's no known cleanser that with remove the stains of the Trump Administration.

I do have a couple of question for the Trump supporters on this forum.

Trump keeps repeating the statement "There was no collusion and everyone admits there was no collusion" between the Trump campaign and the Russians.

We know for a fact that the Trump campaign was at least trying to collude with the Russians because of Trump Jr's statements in addressing the Trump Tower meeting.

There's also significant information that there was collusion based upon the sequence of events so evidence that can prove that collusion occurred is obviously a major part of the Mueller investigation.

So why does Trump keep repeating this lie that everyone knows is a lie over and over and over again?

The other thing that seems really bazaar is that Trump keeps bringing up Hillary Clinton in conversations that are completely unrelated to Hillary Clinton. It's like he has this obsession because he lost to popular vote to Hillary Clinton by three million votes. He won the presidency but Americans actually preferred Clinton over Trump during the election. It's like he's got this mental block that won't allow him to move on because he was Second Best out of the only two viable candidates for president. He even brings Hillary Clinton into the Trump-Russia investigation claiming it's a witch hunt be Democrats that can't accept they lost the election. Democrats have accepted that they lost but apparently Donald Trump can't seem to get over the election.

So what's up with this? Why can't Trump move on and address being the President as opposed to continuing his campaign against Hillary Clinton that ended over a year ago?
