Default 5 Ways President Trump and Congressional Republicans Are Betraying Veterans

Republicans Eliminate Program To Fight Veteran Homelessness
cuts to programs that care for limbs, spinal injury. Cuts to food stamps, makes it harder for veterans to find jobs and harder to access health care.

This whole @benshapiro offering to debate @Ocasio2018 issue is ridiculous and shows the bias of the media in favor of the right-wing. Fine, I offer the same $10,000 to debate @tedcruz. Not joking. Guaranteed it gets no coverage. Why won't the bumbling coward Ted Cruz debate me?!

Again I must ask, where were you during the Obama years? We heard no complaints from you about the treatment of veterans then. Veterans died waiting to be treated,

Now you just make stuff up. The current program isn't successful. Time to reform it.

We heard nothing from the left about the homeless during the Clinton years or the Obama years. Odd how they show up the instant a Republican takes the White House.

BTW, I don't believe the Government alone has an obligation to solve the homeless problem, People should do it as needed in their own communities.

you are wrong. you heard plenty from me on this very forum.
about taking my fnl to the VA in the 70s and how hard it was to get him registered. And now with iraq iraq afghanistan, kosovo
I may have mentioned homelessness. I mentioned it elsewhere for sure.
Your broad brush has holes in it.
And you ignore the fact they are cutting veteran services.

The idea was to shift the funding directly to the local VA hospitals so they, on a local basis, could better utilize it.

As for your experience with the VA, it had nothing to do with being homeless...; and everything to do with a careless, wasteful and corrupted VA system that doesn't seem to work for the interest of the Vets. Something Trump has promise to reform. And his efforts get blocked at every turn.

Could you provide examples of who is blocking what efforts?

if wishes were horses then beggars would ride...

the vouchers they get don't attempt to pay today's rents yet some of them still find a cheap room even if they have to move.
