Sounds like quite a bit more than just a "thought"...

They've moved this past the "Hey, here's an idea" phase and firmly into "But how do we phrase the legislation..."
President Obama gives a speech claiming there is no good way to manage the sequestration cuts shirking his fiscal management responsibility but Republicans are to blame. The same administration that gathered up up around $400 million in unused past appropriations to use for vote buying in the last election now proclaims it is helpless to shape the sequestration cuts. Under President Obama fiscal creativity is reserved exclusively for spending to promote his political agenda spending cuts are for demogoging.

Did you ever wonder where that 10 billion dollars in cash that Bremmer claims to have lost went? Seriously, why don't we assume it went into secret bank accounts controlled by Bremmer and Bush? Or Cheney and others. I mean that is a lot of money and nobody has seemed to interested in the whereabouts of 10 billion dollars.

BTW perhaps one of the moderators should Capitalize the O in the presidents name. I'm sure it was a mistake.

Mikeyy's back, he is trying his famous misdirection approach of a thread that is critical of obama.

I was responding to the misdirection above mine by AZRwinger. Looks like MrLiberty is back and as confused as usual.

NO misdirection by AZ, he was answering a post by someone else. What you did had nothing to do with the subject at hand.

Now who is the one confused? Me thinks it is the obama worshiper.

My "misdirection" illustrates the contradiction between President Obama's claimed impotence to shape the sequestration cuts and his aggressive "repurposing" of long ago appropriations. He cannot figure out a smart way to apply cuts to spending growth but spending money while ignoring the purpose for which it was appropriated is a breeze.

President Obama could have structured the sequestration cuts almost any way he chose. Republicans would have been forced to go along with any proposal he made as long as the cuts added up to the same dollar amount and didn't increase the proportion of cuts to the Pentagon budget. Instead he used the sequester to advance his divisive scorched earth partisan warfare campaign, sound politics for a community organizer but rank incompetence for a POTUS.
