I certainly wouldn't have discussed that issue with a reporter - national security issues fall under a wide classification spectrum, and although this particular one isn't at the level of nuclear missile launch code security, it's still not something that anyone outside the agency involved is obligated to address.

Which isn't to say that political considerations were not also involved in her response...they are involved in ANY politician's response to ANY question by ANY one.

Obama personally reviews and makes a disposition on each name on the kill list. This information is in the public domain so national security is not compromised by asking DWS if she is comfortable with Romney wielding the same power. Her pretense or sincere ignorance speaks volumes.

Now then, how do you feel about DWS trying to avoid discussing the publically known fact that Pres. Obama is claiming the power to kill people that are deemed to be threat to our security in places where we aren't at war and how she'll feel when Romney is elected and has that authority?

I don't think it's the role of the DNC chair to discuss/affirm/deny a kill list. I wouldn't expect a RNC chair to answer that question either.

I have a little point that's been missed...

Wasserman-Schultz is the chair of the DNC...But she's ALSO A MEMBER OF CONGRESS!!!!!!...

An actual member of Congress that says "I don't know anything about a kill list" is either.....

A) legitimately ignorant of the kill list (which is a HUGE dereliction of duty)

OR...

B) FEIGNING ignorance to the kill list based on party affiliation over Congressional duty...

I'll let you decide...
