This is a great report. It is truely the worst congress we ever have seen in our history. This is well worth studying.

This week, the House of Representatives voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act. On its own, such a vote would be unremarkable. Republicans control the House, they oppose President Obama’s health reform law, and so they voted to get rid of it.

But here’s the punchline: This was the 33rd time they voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Holding that vote once makes sense. Republicans had promised that much during the 2010 campaign. But 33 times? If doing the same thing twice and expecting a different result makes you insane, what does doing the same thing 33 times and expecting a different result make you?

Well, it makes you the 112th Congress.

Hating on Congress is a beloved American tradition. Hence Mark Twain’s old joke, “Reader, suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself.” But the 112th Congress is no ordinary congress. It’s a very bad, no good, terrible Congress. It is, in fact, one of the very worst congresses we have ever had. I see, It's the Obama's strategy to hire a reporter to write a story about congresses failure in order to re-elect him. I don't get your reasoning. If congress was worried about being used by Obama for a re-election bid why did they decide to be the worst congress ever? Or are you saying we should ignore that this congress is the worst ever because pointing that out is partisan. Maybe the fact that this congress met upon Obama's election and vowed to drag their feet to ruin his presidency is evident but the numbers?

Fact is this is the worst congress. Klien shows the numbers. He shows the graphs. You are upset because in compairison Obama looks like a winner. Well cnredd tough titties amigo. You claim to have been given a heads up that Obama might use the fact that this is the worst congress ever to get re-elected. Well, he should. They are the by the numbers worst ever. If I didn't use that fact to my advantage if I were running I would be a fool.

You have not addressed the facts shown because you can't actually rebut the facts so you attack the entire idea of looking at congress as a ploy. You are busted big guy, You can spin it any way you want but even taking Obama out of the picture does not change the facts that

I don't know if I would call them the WORST Congress ever, They did name 12,233 Post offices, designated 122 more Government Holidays, and Obstruct any and all progress that the President might have made with a bit of cooperation. Not to mention they passed 14 balanced budget amendments in the House, all of which were symbolic votes. They voted 33 times to repeal Healthcare, all of which were symbolic and they passed the most radical, draconian budget plan ever known to man, which was also dead on arrival in the Senate. So calling them the Worst.... Oh wait... They are the Worst....


Truman ran against a do nothing Congress and won his second term. Obama if he is as smart as I think he is will also keep pounding on the congress as the campaign heats up. With a 10% approval rating it's obvious people already know Congress Sucks..but reminding the population could only help.

I love cnredds take. Nothing to see here because it could make the POTUS look better in comparison.

The House voted 33 times to repeal Obamacare. The Senate has voted on it zero times. If the attempt to repeal Obamacare is just symbolic, why won't Senate Democrats allow it to come up for vote? Democrats are protecting vulnerable Senators like Claire McCaskill from having to cast another unpopular vote. To the Senate Democrats improving the reelection chances of their brethren is far more important than the nation's business. Likewise Senate Democrats simply refuse to work on a Federal budget. Once again Democrat partisan advantage trumps the job they were elected to do.

Technically he didnt win a 2nd term..........It was the only one that he won in a presidential election and remember DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN??

But yes by all means keep reminding the ignorant population that the congress is bad. Since most of them are too supid to know that the president is basically powerless without them.
