Whenever the left has the numbers in its favor, it rams down America's collective throat whatever it thinks is right. A good example of this is ObamaCare, which was rammed through in March of 2010.

Whenever the left does not have all the numbers in its favor, however--and it still has control of the Senate, plus the White House; but not the House of Representatives--it demands "bipartisanship," as if that were a virtue when it is used as a call for Republicans to compromise their principles--just never the other way around...

It is a cultural difference, as Bill Clinton explained at Robert KKK Byrd's funeral it is all about saying the right thing to get elected. When the Tea Party freshman insist on honoring election promises to constituents it clashes with this culture.
