I doubt very much that even if pelosi were to pull off a miracle and get a super majority in both houses that the people of this country would ratify this. I would also think that most news organizations would be opposed to this and the congressional weasels that voted for it would soon be removed from office.

As much as I can't stand Pelosi, on this one, she kind of has a point. I don't really think the first amendment was intended to cover corporations. Now if an owner of a corporation wants to speak, that's fine and I would defend that to the bitter end. But a corporation as an entity? I don't see how that's even remotely addresssed in the first amendment. The first amendment covers citizens of the United States against infringement by the government of the United States. When a corporation gets a birth certificate and a social security number, then we can talk about the so called rights of the corporation covered in the constitution.
