If you do work with MS then you got new toy's. 3-D Graphics. etc... well get your own new version.

Latest Major Updates to Windows 10

As of June 2017, the last major update to*Windows 10*is Windows 10 Version 1703, also known as the Creators Update.

Updating is completely automatic via Windows Update.
(Not true, it's not automatic, one has the option of choosing Creators Update, which I didn't)

You can read more about the individual*fixes and improvements on Microsoft's Windows 10 Update History: Version 1703 page.

I got the W-10 update option notice today. I don't accept automatic updates, preferring to wait a few days to let MS work out the kinks and avoid potential problems and potential scams.

I'll readdress it in a week or so.

Updates to what I consider garbage, is just more garbage. Lipstick on a pig, and all that.

I did it without any problems jimbo. Just make a restore point B-4 you take it.

Also I make one after the install once known to be stable.

Wasn't going to even bother with it lurp, but went to the site and chose the security feature only for Creators Update.

Windows 10 delivers comprehensive, built-in and ongoing security protections you can trust – including Windows Defender Antivirus, firewall, and more. By staying up to date, you’re assured of the latest features and protection – at no extra cost to you.

Scrolling down the page here, and clicked on LEARN ABOUT COMPREHENSIVE SECURITY

It had to reboot a few times to complete the process, but was well worth it.
Didn't care for anything else that comes with the update.

and, the only thing I'm going to have to get used to is the two new things up above the tool bar.
Those set these tabs aside/tabs you've set aside , and there is a web note and share button as well on the actual tool bar itself.

Humm I took the whole nine yards and don't have that extra crap to get use to..

M$ is a funny bunch aren't they.... They wanted you to take the whole dang thing but you had to be picky..

Man I dis-like anything messing with my screen. I put things in order and don't move them. Or add to them...

And I have little space as when I log on I have 3 browsers open. One set to PW in the left about 2 inches from the top and the right. Then my other F.F to search with and which is a bit above and to the right of the PW browser. last is the Win 10 News Browser which is above and to the right of the search browser.

This way I just click a spot and I get which browser I need. No bringing up 3 small screens then moving to the one I want and left clicking it.

It's not a lot of extra crap, which is why I was picky about the update.
As far as those other two screens, they won't be used, but they are there.
When opening a new tab/window-- I click on the +.. voila!
There is also the down arrow for tab reviews, again.. no. There but not going to be used.

if you can deal with it. I would be a bit upset unless I could delete both.. As
M$ is always trying to add crap to our PC's even when we would not want or need the items.

I have some new graphics and what ever else was added, but they are in programs already installed. I can live with that.

I guess Lollie it is the differences we have.. And as long as we arrive at Happy it works.
