Default Thinking of getting a Drone

I am kind of semi-retired now. I have a friend that is about 500 miles away from me. He has a drone is take aerial shots for farmers and realtors. He's making some pretty good money doing it.

I was wondering if anyone here have any good recommendations on a system up to about $2000

No recommendations sadly..

But as a farmer, I think your on the correct track. Crop insurance companies don't want to own, when they can contract some one to wait for sun and low wind speeds, to take pictures for them..

My friends rig does have a GPS. I am kind of looking at the xCraft that made a big hit on Shark Tank. Much less than my friends rig. However I am being advised to start out with a Cheapo until you get the hang of it.

Tell you what, buy a set up, and let me know when. I think I have an idea...

West of Vegas? and in Iowa a lot?

Now there has got to be a story or two between those!
