LOL...I hear ya,the last time we had the police in my area was when a heard of cows broke down a farmers fence and the officer tried to round them up..

Twice now I've stopped to let folks know their cow(s) had broken through a fence. One of those times I had to usher them out of the road so I could get through. I also follow a lot of big ole tractors this time of year. City/county road maintenance doesn't come out our way much, so when we have big storms and trees are in the road, you see folks just hop out of their pickups, grab a chainsaw out of the back and clear a path. LOL I have a feeling most of those same trucks will have plows on the front come winter. Especially since all of us live on roads that the city/county does not maintain at all. I know the road that veers off the "main" road is owned by me and my neighbor. (he owns the right of way, I own a big chunk of it back. Not sure who owns it up the mountain and around the bend. LOL

Ah, the fun of rural living. I love it. I'm actually not as rural as I wanted to be, either. (I can actually SEE my neighbor, I consider that a bad thing. Or more to the point...they can see me)
