I'm not a huge strat gamer, and I tried one of the Civs years ago. We sat through this 30 minute presentation/video/demo of the xpac for Civ5 and it made me want to go by Civ5. LOL But, then they gave it to us anyway.

They're introducing religion and faith into the game with the xpac. There was a lot of focus on that. I'm assuming that's not part of Civ 5 right now.

Correct. It was a large part of Civ4, but they left it out 5. Glad to see it back. Makes for interesting game play.

Okay, so I started playing Civ5 last night and had to tear myself away from it to go to bed.

We'll see how long it keeps my interest though. LOL
