Re: "Gun Control" - 10 Proposals

AFAIK, other than the 6 or so minis, the ten or so functioning Gatlings, and some heavily regulated automatics in civilian hands, there are no weapons in civilian hands that can kill 60 people a...

I don't think anyone is wholesale rejecting all government assistance programs. But we're discussing one specific program.
Picking up unemployed homeless people to perform temporary labor is...

Re: No personal days?

No I wouldn't. Employer is offering the same wages to any and all ages.

Unless the employer is hiring whites only or 18 YO's only, or males only there is no discrimination involved.

Shiva, take it or leave it is a say.

Your last paragraph is a textbook description of the market system.

Re: Sanders calls for 'registry of disreputable federal law enforcement officers,' cu

Of the lot, Pocahontas is probably the easiest target for our next President Trump. Followed closely by Gropin' Joe.

Bernie is a distant third or fourth.

Re: James Tour: The Origin of Life Has Not Been Explained

I'm not watching a 22 minute video to see if I can figure out your point. How about a short summary?

Having said that, if you follow any theory of the origin of life (or the universe) back to the...

Re: No personal days?

(1) Prospective employees have the option to move on and go where conditions are more suited to their needs. Since this is a prospective agreement between an employer and employee, it doesn't...

Re: Is It Possible to Stop a Mass Shooting Before It Happens?

Nothing in what you claim I said has anything to with I actually said.

I address one topic at a time.

Re: Rights? Or Gimme Gimme That Stuff?

The cost of living has nothing to do with the value of labor.

But I'll bite. As you yourself said.

"To comply with this rule enterprise sets the price for it's products and services based upon...

Re: Rights? Or Gimme Gimme That Stuff?

No Shiva, the worker does not create anything. The worker provides the labor for agreed upon compensation. In that respect the worker is no different than the company that provides the nuts and...

And the .223 was...

Re: where does the blame lie for the recent shootings?

Again, you're just babbling and deliberately altering the truth to make a case. AR 15's and '16's are not functionally identical. One is capable of full auto. The other is not. The '16, the...

Management is in no way "responsible for ensuring the employee's "support and comfort". Locke is dead. But I don't think he ever addressed employer's obligation regarding employee's support and...

Our rights are clearly defined in the Constitution. Bernie doesn't know how to read the Constitution. Interesting that Bernie doesn't...

I'm guessing no personal days with pay.

I don't know of any company that would not give you an occasional day off if it was important enough to you to eat the loss in pay.

In the very few times...

I said it then, I'll say it now. Spying on innocent citizens in the off chance of uncovering some future plot violates a...

And didn't you just say, one post up, that the wait from your personal experience that elective hip...
