Yes. Balloon notes and weird "creative financing" were all a part of the Texas economic crash of the eighties. I don't know if it was Fanny and Freddie but there were cutesy two first named companies...

Yes and I remember that "creative financing" started about then. And where we were prices started to climb. We owned our property and built our house. Many acquaintances bought with a balloon note...

Exactly. I would be O.K. with 16% interest rate on my truck loan if tomatoes were 69 cents per pound and housing and other consumer spending was similar.
