I live in Idaho. We have devastating wildfires yearly and sometimes the smoke gets so thick from several at once. The difference in us and California is population. Thank God most of ours don't hit...

One body found that I know of so far. A youngish couple just got into a mortgage on a home (they have a baby) and five days later evacuated and lost it. At least they are ok, but dang what lousy luck.
