Re: The food shock of 2011

One of the biggest changes I've noticed at the supermarket is the bacon shortage. Bacon jumped from $2 a 16 oz package to $4 in the course of a couple months. I was wondering what the problem was...

Can't recall seeing a positive one though. It's like watching a train wreck. Nothing good to see, but it'll sure draw a crowd.

Re: Andre Bauer: Starve the poor, they’ll stop breeding

At my son's school, regular priced lunch is $1.65. You'd have to be pretty durned poor not to be able to afford the $20 or so to feed your kid school lunches. Not to mention it would probably be...

Re: Andre Bauer: Starve the poor, they’ll stop breeding

I wonder where are those kids gonna eat when they start cutting back to 4 day school weeks? And what do they eat on the weekends?

Re: Many conservatives enraged over Obama school speech

Re: Melting pot or multiculturalism?

I definitely get the idea. It took me 35 years to make my little crumb snatcher. He's the only one I got and I doubt I can make another. Folk better step off, I'm liable to snap. LOL.

Re: Media's Infatuation With Obama

When you watch his sound bites, at least he doesn't look like a complete ass like Bush often did. But then again, you have to think he's blowing smoke a lot of the time. They all do. His just...

Re: N.C. man accused of arranging wife's rape on Craigslist

Craigslist has been getting some REAL bad press lately. It's a shame too because the "for sale" ads are like gold. Buying and selling.
