Left-wingers often DO agree that it is not in the young person's "best interest to engage in sexual activity during their teen years".
It's just that left-wingers are
more REALISTIC IN ACKNOWLEDGING that is not going to happen in a lot of cases.
That it is more practical to educate teenagers on ALL options, so that those who choose to have sex anyways will at least know enough on how to protect themselves...
