If the notion of dark energy sounds improbable, get ready for an even more outlandish suggestion.

Earth may be trapped in an abnormal bubble of space-time that is particularly devoid of matter.

Scientists say this condition could account for the apparent acceleration of the universe's expansion, for which dark energy currently is the leading explanation.

Dark energy is the name given to the hypothetical force that could be drawing all the stuff in the universe outward at an ever-increasing rate.

Current thinking is that 74 percent of the universe could be made up of this exotic dark energy, with another 21 percent being dark matter, and normal matter comprising the remaining 5 percent.

That ref in question, Ed Holuchi, who blew the call vs. Denver, blew another call this past week. Is he losing his mind already? I guess he can look forward to watching the playoffs at home this season, let alone the Super Bowl, of course.

Good morning. I am going to have my hands full tonight at the Chargers-Raiders game. I guess I've waited for this day to come when I get a chance to "conquer the world".

More police will be there, thank God, and alcohol sales will be cut off at halftime. And the game is between two teams with losing records?? :wave

A lot of fans came late. I don't know if the 5PM start time for games on the west coast is bad or not. Mingle people trying to get to the stadium with people to get home from work, and people walking a mile or more to get to the stadium, well.

Most of the fans did not get in until halftime or later. Not our problem, though. If they get their early, then they won't miss any of the game. A lot of fans that came late were Raiders fans. They should have stayed home.

I wonder how fans are in other NFL cities like Green Bay. I bet almost none of them come late for Packers' games.
