Very good article concerning evolution. The traditional consensus among the scientific community has been chimps evolved due to their brains expanding to include new sections, allowing the next step in the evolution process to take place.
Now, new findings suggest that while the traditional explanation is still true to a certain degree, it may have more to do in the manner in which the brain is wired.
I love the old joke, "If we evolved from chimps, how come we still have chimps?!"
