Default Hello all!

Hello all!

I'm a 50-ish divorced Black male Obama supporter and I live in the Pacific North West and have little doubt that the Senator from Illinois will be our next President and that he deserves to be our next President.

We need a change and he is the man that can make things happen for the better. I hope you all will agree with me and I urge you all to see past your preconceived ideas this November to help make America an Obamanation starting in 2009!

Welcome.

Curious about your name. It comes across like "abomination" which is probably just a bad coincidence.

Anyway, again welcome aboard.

Thank you.

And as far as the name is concerned...

I'll live with it.

Welcome, Obamanation, to our community!

Hope to have some serious and light hearted exchanges with you.
While, at present, I am leaning toward McCain, I am open to arguments in favor of the other candidates. Perhaps you can give a clearer view of what an Obama presidency might look like.
Please post a thread, or add to one that expresses reasons for your choice.

Again, welcome!

Consumption is indeed important in a free economy: particularly the freedom of consumers to buy their goods in unhampered markets. However, key to long-term economic growth is investment (savings), which is the opposite of consumption. Public policies that promote consumption — such as low interest rates — do so at the expense of savings. Less savings means less investments; an economy that does not save or invest will consume all of its resources and eventually end up bankrupt.-David Saied

Welcome Obamanation...

I'm an Independent voter, that just means my vote must be earned and not taken for granted by party affiliation. At this point..I do not support any of the candidates.

Thank you.

It's too bad Ron wasn't able to get more media coverage. I would have voted for him.

He doesn't deserve to be POTUS. But he is qualified. Then again so am I. That and about $5 will get you a coffee a starbucks.

Welcome onboard. I'm considering voting for Obama. It will be my second time in 2 years. I used to live in Illinois. I even have a yard sign. Might be worth money some day. Huh?

See you out on the threads.
