We both belong to a heavy equipment forum longer than the other one. It is a small world thanks to the internet. He is a pretty good cook also. But my bacon is better!!

I was thinking of joining Doc's music one but it is so quiet which is a shame.

Man I gotta make a good roast again in the slow cooker with some veggies. You deserve a good meal like that for your B-day. don't post any pics either, that will just make it worse on my end.

Forgot to say hi to Lollie. Good to see you again.

Nice crew here with some interesting topics.

Well... I just ran out of alcohol and hamburgers Comet. Maybe next time my friend. I can go grab some more bacon maybe!

Cnredd: very nice community you have here and all the lovely peoples seem very cool. I laughed out loud when I was lurking here reading a few posts. When you posted somewhere - "can't you get that through your dome", I knew I would enjoy it here.

I'm a midwestern guy, single Father of 2 children that are about grown up now. I was pretty strict raising my boys, but when the youngest came home from school one day and said he finally benched 350 I figured maybe I should lighten up... I'm part owner of a small excavating business and love being outside, camping, ect.. love my dog too. His name is Buddy.

I'm not much of a gabber/poster, I'm pretty shy in real life too. But the word on the street said this is where the action is so here I am. Thanks again for the welcome everyone.

You're chalking up a lot of plus' - you love your dog and you bring in the bacon....Welcome! (dog's rate high)

Hi and thank you Coyote. I had dogs all my life growing up on a farm. The thing that really stinks is they don't live that long. I hate it when they get to old to live anymore - they are just like kids, ya know? I warned my kids about that when they moved out and wanted to get their own dog. They aren't with us nearly as long as we would wish.

Andddd I just picked up a few more bacon cheeseburgers on the way here tonight. Enjoy!
