I've been an avid forum junkie since 2005 or so, but I've been out of circulation on political forums for a long time. I've got a lot going on in my life, and it has been really hard to focus on politics to any degree except for a few choice issues. I just watched an incredible video today, though, that if nothing else has inspired me to be a little more visible at the cost of my anonymity for the benefit of others who may be going through a similar journey. I can think of a few individuals who have done exactly that, and without them I wouldn't be where I am now. I dunno if political forums are the best use of my time, but hey... it's still fun after all these years.

I will do my best to set a good example, but I will probably lose my cool more than once.

Welcome back. I got tired of the oneupmanship of my side does it better (politics), or Blah Blah Blah as it generally sounds coming from the fingers of passioned posters opining for their place in a thread. So I set my forum up as a general one thats asterisks free. I kinda wanna see what people are saying an let them say it.
