The stock I bought also supplies airline processed foods. Glad I am in for the long count. lol

Yes, it's up and down. But gradually, most things that are going to be around awhile, go up over the long term.
I bought into a young company awhile back that owns gold mines among other things. They were having some political problems at the time and the stock was low. I was betting that where there is gold involved, things get ironed out pretty quickly. Well, guess what-my bet was a wise one.
Just sorry I didn't invest more at the time.

Consumption is indeed important in a free economy: particularly the freedom of consumers to buy their goods in unhampered markets. However, key to long-term economic growth is investment (savings), which is the opposite of consumption. Public policies that promote consumption — such as low interest rates — do so at the expense of savings. Less savings means less investments; an economy that does not save or invest will consume all of its resources and eventually end up bankrupt.-David Saied

Check out my next buy tomorrow. the sign is RBY. Do some reading. They are about to hit in this or the next drill test big. They own the surrounding area to a big Gold company. And it's CEO is a boots on the ground kind of guy. He bought 45 million into this one because he knows the vane is going into the land adjacent to his company. But that isn't a postitive as any thing in the stock market. But right now it is dirt cheap. About $1.31
