We're actually a pretty diverse group here. For myself, I am a moderate conservative with fundamentally capitalist takes on the economy. I am a big supporter of McCain but wouldn't be too out of sorts if Clinton won.

I do not support Obama at all.

"The board" has no affiliation...

I, the owner (and a a Republican), intentionally made it that way so "the board" is separated from my personal opinion...

That way, any discussions I end up in are representative of cnredd the poster and not cnredd the admin...

Too many forums let their emotions and political affilations dictate how the board gets run...

I refuse to do that...

I appreciate the way you run things here. It's terribly unfair when admin or a moderator will intervene and infract you just because they don't agree with your politics. I think I will enjoy my stay here.

AD I think you will to. Civil is the key. This is the only forum I have ever experienced this so completly while a member. And I might add AD the posting rules here are different form other sites. So a read of the rules is a good start.

I'm a crusty veteran of forums...and I've seen it as a member and a Mod from every angle possible...

And it disgusts me...

Another aspect (which will NEVER happen here) is "cliques"...

When one group of people (may or may not be Mods) "team up" on members they don't agree with so they can "control" the forum...

This forum has no place for them...

From reading different opinions, I would think most everyone in this forum has their own personal reasons for voting for any candidate..Don't know who has the edge.
