The film studio said it would also adapt and direct the revised Bible as a two-part mini-series, The Gay Old Testament and The Gay New Testament, once it is completed.

"There are many different versions of the Bible; I don't see why we can't have one," said Max Mitchell, who directed the science fiction comedy Horror in the Wind, in which an airborne formula invented by two biogeneticists reverses the world's sexual orientation.

I imagine Clay Aiken will be a shepherd...

You roll your eyes, but many have that view of the Bible. That it was essentially made up by people as they went along.

And Aiken's not manly enough to be a shepherd in a gay Bible. He'd probably be the virgin.

It doesn't anger me - and I'm a Christian.

I doubt that I'll buy - or read it (well, maybe I will, since it will be quoted all over the internet eventually) - but it's doesn't anger me. It doesn't affect my life in the least.

Personally I find it kind of revolting.

Though I have no faith in the bible, I think it is wrong to change the basis of many religions just to suit an agenda.

If gay people want their own bible, they should do what everyone else does and start their own religion. Then the ones hat want to be Christian can, and the ones that want to believe in that can.

I see no problem at all with their adapting the text.

Every religion has done that.

Basically, almost all religions are the same and believe in the most basic way in the same things.

The rest is just dogma, doctrine and text.

It’s not “adapting the text”. It’s bastardizing the text to make it say something that it clearly never intended never to say.

No true, either. Even someone with a cursory knowledge of both Christianity and Islam would be forced to admit that they don’t believe the same thing or even worship the same God.
