I watched History International last night. It had a three hour program on mankind in American. There is valid proof from bone found on the Islands just off CALIFORNIA of it being over 30,000 years old. And the many locations and digs now going on have produced tools and the waste from making them
for modern man in America from 15,000 to 12,000 years ago. It went back to studies of the evolution of man from the ape like creatures from Africa to Europe. But weather did have many effects on the early non modern mankind.
Then along comes modern mankind with the larger brain (which took about 80,000+ years to start using) and its development most likely by using language (another part of the theory) and the ability to think better to meet the requirements to survive the things nature placed in mankinds path.

But again all theories except the bones, tools and drawings which modern mankind left in the caves and on large stones in different places.

Yep. Cromagnun man just appeared out of nowhere (it seems) and then boom, blam, pow! He has fire and the wheel and is writing!
My husband thinks the two stories in Genesis relating God creating man are not two parts of a writing style as some contend but two separate stories. One about creating men. Another about him creating God's chosen.
If you get a chance sometime read the book of Genesis through the creation stories and you will see what I mean.

Did Adam and Eve have navels?

I thought it was a cute question but it divided many of the members. It got so bad we had to delete the topic! Shouting matches erupted and friendships were ended over a simple question..

I am sorry but my theory ends at believing that dino's preceded chickens. Therefore the egg predates the chicken. Now thats free.

But if you want to know my theory on mankind or any of the other mystery's of the universe. Those are extra. And their not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. One thing I am pretty sure of is that if I ever die you all disappear.

I have several times as with the entire Bible. I now just stick to what counts the most prophecy and Jesus speaking. In the end times there will be many saying he is here or there. And much to show that there is another path. But science, the diggers and found items do have meaning. I really think that at the time of the Bible being written old and new the writers just couldn't express the numbers of the things they saw into word other than what they knew.
I don't discard the Bible I just see Jesus speaking on topic's more important
than the many other things the writers were saying. As for the Prophets, just to understand the whys and what to be alert to. In an era that mankind have a vast source of data/info at their finger tips and on TV.

Not that I won't do as you suggest, I will. But always remember I hold Jesus as my King, my salvation and my friend who stands closer than any brother could or would. Before science or any other info we have reveled to us. It is blind faith...

At PF I did the same with "Who here believes in Jesus". WOW did I get slammed, baited and attacked. But we have a very different breed of membership don't you think Spencer?
And I am sure the lovely mods and cnredd would stop any unraveling like we both experienced in earlier efforts.
Now mine was meant to attract the believers and I knew I would get a few crazies, but I got all of them. But yours seems so much like just joking around Did Adam and Eve have navels, and that got out of hand?

At my house its eggs first. Usually with sausage. Then chicken for lunch or dinner.
