Watching a history channel show about the one Jewish tribe that left to enter Africa. A prophet named Hood was mentioned who believe in the one God of the Jews. He was one of 4 great prophets before Mohammad. I found this which if read correctly runs down believers in Jesus, yet some in Islam still teach it, the reason for this long line of crap. But in it one finds that the ones they speak against for the ruin of mankind are really the terrorist and insurgents of today. Got a moment read this and form your own opinion.
This is an Islam Site................................ Jesus Versus Finality: Return of Jesus Christ | Jesus Versus Finality of Prophet hood | Will Jesus Return - Al Islam Online HE BELIEF that the last prophet, Muhammadsa, has already come and gone and the assertion that Jesusas would descend to earth as a prophet after him are so inconsistent that they cannot be owned simultaneously. In fact this cocktail of two unrelated issues was made by some Ulema of the late medieval times. At the time of the revelation of the Holy Quran any connection between the two was unthinkable. |

What gets me is they have to redefind the Koran that was suppose to be give from Allah to Mohammad to the people once Mohammed dragged them into the new religion. Hummm sound like the same problem Christians have.
On Finality of Prophethood :On Finality of Prophethood - Introduction ¤ Introduction ¤ Evidence In The Quran ¤ Evidence in The Ahadith ¤ The use of “KHATAM” in Arabic ¤ Opinions of Islamic Scholars INTRODUCTION While it would be tautologous to reiterate verbosely, the various circumstances that necessitated the writing of this series of articles, I would like to mention that it was given rise to by the proposal that a newsgroup be created with the name soc.religion.islam.ahmadiyya. This development created a great deal of discomfort among a vast majority of Muslims who believe that Ahmadi Muslims are not Muslims and as such, should not be allowed to use the word "Islam" in the name of their newsgroup. By the same token, Ahmadi Muslims claim that it is THEY who are true Muslims, and as such, have the right to choose their name. The basis for which the non-Ahmadi majority has declared the Ahmadi minority non-Muslim is a verse of the Holy Quran, the Muslim divine book, which states that the Prophet of Islam, Hadhrat Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was "Khatam-an-Nabiyyeen", a controversial expression which Ahmadis interpret as "the greatest of the prophets" and non-Ahmadis interpret as "the last of the prophets". I present here for interested readers my brief series of articles on modern day (non-Ahmadi) Muslims' erroneous concept of the finality of prophethood -- that Hadhrat Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, the Prophet of Islam is chronologically the last Prophet and that one who does not accept this idea is automatically kicked out of the pale of Islam. Importantly, all the quotations that I have presented are of non-Ahmadi scholars and divines who made these statements largely before the advent of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, peace be upon him, who founded the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam, claimed by him to be in compliance with God's command in revelations received by him. It is also noteworthy that these views represent a wide time span, since the demise of Hadhrat Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to the time of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, peace be upon him. All the views indicate that Prophethood was not abolished with the advent of Hadhrat Muhammad, peace nad blessings of Allah be upon him, and that the notion that Hadhrat Muhammad, peace and blessings of allah be upon him, is the last prophet in order of time was concocted later on. The purpose of these articles is to clarify doubts created in the minds of many readers by some less informed Muslims on the network, the nobility of whose intentions I do not doubt at all, however. The arrangement of the subject in the articles is as follows: Evidence in the Holy Quran. Forty examples of the use of the word "Khatam" where it does not mean "last", rather it means "greatest" or "best". Evidence in the Ahadith. Opinions of Islamic scholars. Best Regards, Rasheed A. Khalid, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. |

More wonders of which many are unaware of. I give up this is the last unless others find it. Much more quotes at the site.
THE OPINION AND VERDICTS OF POLITICIANS ABOUT QADIYANIAT THE OPINION AND VERDICTS OF POLITICIONS ABOUT QADIYANIAT Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto I have faith in Islam. I am a Muslim and I am proud of being a Muslim. The Holy Prophet (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) is the last Prophet of Almighty Allah. There is no possibility of a prophet after him. The decision has been made. In addition, the decision is that only those are Muslims who believe in Khatm e Nubuwwat (the seal on Prophet Hood) and whoever does not have a faith in Khatm e Nubuwwat is not a Muslim. I came to know their evil designs just these days. I have never thought that the Qadiyanis could be so horrible. General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq Qadiyaniat is like cancer for the Muslim World. Through different measures, the Pakistani government is trying to remove this cancer. The Muslims of South Asia should be proud of it that they have unveiled the false Prophet Hood of Mirza Qadiyani and made the world aware of his fraud and deception. The faith in Khatm e Nubuwwat (the seal on Prophet Hood) is not only a basic part of Islam but also a universal message for the completion of God’s religion and His blessings. Discussing the promulgation of the ordinance concerning the Qadiyanis, General Zia-ul-Haq said, “This ordinance has brought about good results and it will help in creating a Muslim society. By enforcing the ordinance concerning the Qadiyanis, the government has shown its will not only to restore the glory of Islam but also to root out the evils in society. The real danger we are facing is from the double-faced Qadiyanis who are among us in the guise of Muslims. Benazir Bhutto Replying to a question Benazir said, “Before declaring them as a non-Muslim minority, the Qadiyanis have been given the chance to prove that they believe in Khatm e Nubuwwat (the seal on Prophet Hood). However, the stance of the Qadiyani leader in the National Assembly was of complete rejection of the Finality of the Prophet Hood. So the unanimous opinion of the elected Assembly declared them as non-Muslim minority through an amendment in the constitution. So that amendment is right and cannot be abolished”. |

Gee thanks again for the history lesson. But hear me newbi, I am not searching for the truth. I already know it. My faith is in Christ not any church. You need to read some older posts/threads on the topic here at this forum. Now that is real history. And a lesson which would serve any newbi well to learn.

.....and apparently you "fear" that someone that presents the Scriptures as they are ACTUALLY RECORDED, might just steal some of the THUNDER from the SECULAR records of history, you fear such even more than you care about such TRUTH, as is evidenced by your reaction. I am in my mid fifties, having served my nation (US Army) and my faith (Christianity) in an honorable fashion in South East Asia, Europe, the Continental US...and various other stations around the world. And there is only one Church, and Christ is the head of such as He built it. -- Matthew 16:18-19When we put our trust in Christ Jesus, we are to believe what he says. And that very well means we don't follow the way of our "choice", but we abide in his will, as he declares "If you love me you will keep my commandments" -- John 14:15. We don't SELECT the church or DECIDE to worship in what ever manner WE SEE FIT, but we must direct our worship in the CHURCH of his choice...and that is the one that he purchased with his blood. -- Acts 20:28. This is what TRUE FAITH represents...a willingness to sacrifice and direct our life toward the goals and righteous mannerisms presented by the Christ and not follow the "political correctness" of secularism, but the words that we are to be sanctified in, wherein lies the ONLY place that truth can be found -- John 17:17. And just STOP THIS.....'NEWBIE' from presenting the truth, if you can...all you need do is prove the SCRIPTURES TO BE IN ERROR.....we shall be awaiting your your self professed knowledge thereof. Your attempt at manipulating actual scripture was a COMPLETE FAILURE, as far as this thread goes. BD Last edited by Blue Dog; 06-16-2008 at 10:37 AM. |

I used the word "newbie" as intended and you know that. Based upon your total posts numbers. I was one many times. And never felt insulted. No why because people could read a full profile and know me.
Now we could use up 3to 20 pages playing your game. I stated my position, it was clear and informative. But you with no profile must drag it out and force me to unsubscribe from this thread. See people that hide behind a user name and offer no information in their profile aren't worth my time. Sorry rule # 1 in Forum wars by mlurp. Well what works is what I shall do. Now if you care to gives the membership some information on the Mr. Blue Dog then we might carry on in another forum. |
