apologize for, condemning...those are first amendment rights to.

Who said they aren't both condemnable? If you mean why is one currently being condemned and the other not it is because the other was condemned in 1989 when it made it's debut.

Of course that's what I mean. I mean by the CURRENT administration since this art exhibit is still being displayed. One would think that a president who feels so strongly about supposedly degrading the beliefs of one mythology would feel the same about supposedly degrading the beliefs of another mythology.

I don't get why every old piece of offensive artwork suddenly needs to be dug up and condemned simply because the newest one is.

Lots of artwork is still on display. Does that mean that anytime something new is condemned a search must be made of old artwork still on display that might offend other competing special interest groups or mythologies so there is equal condemnation? What a waste of time and whining.

Yes. When they are entertaining the notion of removing first amendment rights with regard to something that might be "offensive" to some pansy ass whiners who think their mythological 'supreme being' is so ****ing weak as to need protecting from us, then yes. They would need to look at all artwork still currently on display to see if it meets the censorship criteria they are bandying about so freely.

What is this censorship attempt in the first place? I heard nothing seriously discussed. And, what does it have to do with apologizing for something offensive? It seems there are two different issues here and with one at least, it's ridiculous to go back through history and look up every piece of artwork that is offensive to some group and apologize just because of whiners. Stick to what's current and relevant.

The filmmaker has been jailed and is being held without bond. Extraordinarily harsh punishment for a minor probation violation. But it is just coincedental that he made the video the OA blames for Muslim violence. Yeah sure.
