I'm more of an agnostic rather than an atheist, but I will be going to midnight mass this year. If it celebrates the birth of Jesus, it is certainly cool with me.

As a kid, I used to like midnight mass, simply because it was held at midnight. The novelty of it, you know.
I usually fell asleep before it was over, though.

I hated it. My cousins, who were way more Catholic than we were, would go and look at us disapprovingly for not wanting to come with them.
