Default The cabinet, congress, senate and court

Since we can't really have a full government with all of the positions held on this website I will pick a few nominee's for those spots. They will have all of the power to enact or deny any suggested actions. They are the deciders. Theirs are the votes that count. They will be the ones making the decisions for you.

So I have four major platform ideas I will be bringing to these people.

1- Taxes
2- Education
3- Energy
4- Healthcare

With those issues in mind I will put up my ideas and give your superiors a chance to reply and make suggestions, when that process is finished we will have a final vote making it law or striking it down.

So, with that in mind here are the following people that will be making those decisions...

1- You.

We have a diverse enough group here to work our way through this sh*t. I will be the final say if things get in the law or don't and I'm not really up for a bunch of hyberbolic b*llsh*t so save it. The rest of us can probably work this out without you.

I will put up opening points and let the rest add their opinions. In the end we will hopefully get something very few dislike but a majority can live with.

We can make our current government look as inept and stupid as they are if we use honesty and common sense in our arguments.

Let's begin.

I put this in the taxes thread.

Quote:
No person living in this country should have to pay more than 25% of their earned income in taxes. The government has grown so large and has their hand in every conceivable aspect of life that we the people can no longer sustain the level of spending we have today.

Cutting the spending has to be the very first priority in this administration.

Just my two cents worth.

Taxes are one of my obsessions cause I don't believe anyone should have to pay more than 25% of their earned income to the government. Do away with tax loopholes and most deductions and our government could run efficiently.

But you do think some people should pay less than others?

Have congress get to work on a bill that outlaws health insurance. It is a scam and makes dr bills rise. Tort reform in this manner: name the body part, the death or illness caused and charge the offending doc/hospt a set amt and their lawyer a set percentage. Take the court cost out of the judgement and pay the offended party minus a set fee for their lawyer.

I go along with Mr Lib's idea of 25% tax no loop holes

Energy-no subsidies to anyone, oil, solar, etc. If you drill here or build a wind farm here we (U.S.) get a set percentage of that power and we get a set discounted rate or percentage averaged out through world markets.

Education-voucher system. Religious or atheist doesn't matter as long as they're accredited.
