Deadname is doublespeak trying to validate gender identity disorder.

Remember Rachael Dolezal? The former NAACP leader who identifies as black but was born to two white parents. She was thrown out of the organization and now reports some years later the stigma keeps her from getting hired. Yet Levine is praised for identifying as female despite being born a man. Worse, there is not a scrap of recognition for the hypocrisy of selectively declaring certain immutable characteristics sacred, race, while others, gender, cannot be questioned.

That's because the Left does not base their morality on anything concrete; it is an ever moving target. What is acceptable one day is vilified the next. I believe this is intentional as to keep people wondering what they can or cannot say at any given moment and allow those in power to make that determination.

Even if you want to participate in the gender identity mass delusion group think there is plenty about Levine that ought to have disqualified it from even being nominated.
