I'm not an illegal alien testicle licker.

But a wall isn't going to keep illegal aliens out. The Rio Grande River doesn't stop them. Each year hundreds of people die attempting to cross it to enter the United States. Hundreds have also died attempting to cross the Arizona deserts. Yet they still come facing death and you think a 30 foot wall is going to be the added deterrent that stops them?

Unfortunately, the wall has become necessary as a symbol of our stance on illegal immigration. I don't like that it has happened but it has.

Being anti-wall has become a symbol for open borders. Of allowing people to cross and stay here illegally without any intention to protect our borders.

Being pro-wall has become a symbol of a willingness to protect our borders.

I'm afraid as a symbol it has become necessary. But I'm under no allusions that it will act as an effective deterrent.

As for the wall around Biden's home. If the rule was: if you manage to get past the wall and into his home, you can stay. You can eat his food, live in his house, watch his TV, take his stuff; you won't be removed. That wall wouldn't do diddly for him either.

Wait until his puppeteers allow illegal aliens and homeless people to camp out inside his walls.

Amazing how you guys fail to understand that this is the short of thing the Secret Service does with every president in order to provide increased security at their homes. They built an entire new sea wall at George H.W. Bush’s Kennebunkport house.

You post that last sentence above as if you think all conservatives will give a crap about Bush's candy ass.

Hypocrite Biden sucks, plain and simple.

Under the Biden administration's open borders policy the wall would only pose a minor delay. Then again no security measures work when Democrats insist on turning the border patrol into a concierge service and forbid deportation from the interior.

As video evidence shows illegals are streaming around the incomplete border fence or in sectors without fencing. The wall works at minimum as a force multiplier for the border patrol. When the San Diego sector wall was completed under an administration dedicated to border security it cut illegal crossings by over 2/3. Yes, smugglers and illegals could just move East but that's a recommendation to complete the wall not scrap it as the Biden administration has done.

On a detour, allow the illegals to creep on in. Just don't lift a finger to help them out. First words out of them would be, "Hey! Where's all our free stuff?"

The put up new fencing at Mar-a-lago as well (and spent millions just to protect Trump Tower for a few months when Melania chose not to move into the White House).

You are correct that walls don't work by themselves. But as part of a system, they are quite effective. That system includes surveillance and active patrol by the Border Patrol officers. It helps to slow illegal crossers down to allow BP to apprehend them.

If walls had no use you would not see prisons built inside of walls.
