The Afghani people, as a whole, are not our "enem[y]"--either now or 20 years ago.

To imply that the Taliban is a fair representative of the Afghani people is simply ludicrous...

One has to wonder just how CS imagines that we might "prevent [our] enemy from regaining power" after our departure--especially since the Afghani military did not seem up to the task of holding the Taliban at bay...
