Actually, the most hated President in our history was Abraham Lincoln. At least during his time. After, much after, he is lauded.

You might recall that there was an "armed insurrection" against the government of Lincoln. But they used real guns and cannon, not just a single hockey stick. So perhaps Trump's storyline isn't as egregious.

The thread isn't about that now indisputable truth. It's about the grasping by some on the left to push the narrative that "Trump has moved on...and it follows that we should too". The commentator corrects that false narrative, but some on the right cannot get past the now indisputable truth and it stops them cold so that they argue that instead of what is pointed out. That the left and the right have deep lala land creators who get in the way of any real progress.
So I am glad that at least there are those on the left who see what left media is pushing and avoiding the pitfall.
