In other news, while Iraqi soldiers were busy surrendering to news reporters, Baghdad Bob vowed the invading troops would be burned alive in their tanks before they could set foot in Iraq.

Some people will just believe some gaffe king and his lap stooge are popular with those Americans who support the Constitution instead of some Chinese-socialist philosophy.

Your guy doesn't understand how polling works. They don't "weight" by party ID. Party ID is not a static characteristic. It's an opinion and, not surprisingly, when the Democrat is more popular than the Republican, more people claim to be Democrats. Also, a Party ID shift of 5 points in favor of Democrats doesn't even come close to accounting for a 2 to 1 result favoring Biden's debate performance.
