I only showed the guests from the last few months...He's had the show for over 16 years, so that "less than a dozen" is actually hundreds, if not thousands...

Like I said, shame on people willing to appear on his show. They’ve obviously decided that national TV exposure is more important than an implied endorsement of Maher’s bigotry. But, there is pretty widespread hatred of this guy among many in the left.

I have not doubt that there are those on the left that disagree with Maher. However from what I have seen and heard from the left, there are many more that share his beliefs and opinions. I will say though that opinions from the left are all over the place ranging from very moderate to completely, off the wall crazy, full blown communists. The problem is that the far left crazies are sucking up all of the oxygen in the room and the moderates are left out of the discussion.

The criticism is more a reflexively response to Maher violating political correctness. There is no question he is a true Resistance warrior so the displeasure will be short lived.
