With the memory of Barack Obama and Harry Reid, along with the current crop of boy scouts like Chuch Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Richard Blumenthal, Cory Booker, etc., that is a pretty high bar to clear.

How can we know Trump is succeeding with his diplomacy towards NK? Blind Resistance zealots start braying he is a liar.

Gee, the Nobel Peace Prize winner for nothing hailed the so-called Arab spring as a flowering of democracy and deployed the US military to attack Libya out of an obligation to protect the people. He was spectacularly wrong but there was no condemnation of Obama as the biggest liar every. Oh wait, it didn't matter what he said, his heart was in the right place.

You make a good point but at this late date if that inconvenient information has not made it through Dave's skull yet, it ain't gonna happen today either.

I just finished going through a Stratfore brief about the fact that China and Russia are both helping out North Korea with the intent to undermine the sanctions against them. Trump just called China and Russia out on their oil-product sales violations of UN sanctions. So there's lots of work to be done. And we have both those countries as well as North Korea working against us. Despite the fact that either we or Russia are supposed to be each others lapdogs.

Other than it being explicitly stated in the CNN article you mean?

There are numerous articles talking about why this one item we are seeing is hardly conclusive...
Dismantling the Sohae site is basically costless for Pyongyang. North Korea already has the technology to launch missiles into the sky at long ranges. It’s possible that the country no longer needs this site for research, and so completely taking it down will be “little more than a gesture,” Jeffrey Lewis, an expert on North Korea’s nuclear program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, told me.

It’s also not clear what, exactly, North Korea is doing in the images taken from July 20 to 22. It looks like they’re taking scaffolding down — much of which could be put back up again quickly, experts — but it’s hard to say what North Korea’s true intentions are. That’s likely why Pompeo, talking to reporters on Tuesday, called for inspectors to have access to the site and look around.

The only way to know for sure that North Korea is serious about following through with denuclearization, experts say, is if it reveals the locations of all of its secret nuclear sites. For now, the US is openly aware of two, and North Korea could have a few more hidden away — although it’s possible American spies know where they are.

The above Vox article talks some about that.
And if Kim Jong-Un is stalling, I have no doubt Trump will revisit the issue.
You need a few more days to make sense of your comment and find the relevant "explicit" comments you claim Mr. Mount made? Here let me refresh your memory.

Well I guess you can say the same could be said of me in reverse but outside of just being argumentative that would make no sense. Can you make some sense of that comment? Do try.

Explain how you think the CNN article explicitly states Kim "wants a lot more" since that was your stance, not that of Mr. Mount. And he makes no comments to suggest that in any way. Please point (quote) where Mr. Mount explicitly states what is not contained in this article. Maybe you should read it again?

No more argumentative than when you said it. But of course, claiming you are dishing out somebody else's medicine is a tactic you claim for yourself but don't recognize when it's applied to you...

From the article:
And while Monday's images may amount to a "confidence building measure" by the North Koreans, it appears that they expect the US to reciprocate if talks are to continue.
I consider the North Koreans expecting the U.S. to reciprocate dismantling to be a hell of a "lot more".

Well I asked if you could make sense of the statement knowing you could not and I was right. And of course neither could you figure out how Mr. Mount was supposed to have "explicitly" claimed North Korea would want "lots more".

Pointing out that North Korea expects sanctions and conditions agreed to for disarming is about the most redundant and idiotic thing I've seen you post. Somehow this is a news flash for you. So you failed miserably in trying to put words into the mouth of both Mr. Mount and the CNN article.

Where did I say Mr. Mount said that "explicitly"?

This is a strawman argument as that is not what I was focusing on.

I quoted where the CNN article said what I talked about.
You challenged: "Explain how you think the CNN article explicitly states Kim "wants a lot more" since that was your stance..."

I provided that.

Predictably, you ignored this.

Where did you explicitly bold quote and state something you explicitly bolded and stated? Right before you trotted out your much beloved but not so well grasped concept of a strawman?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Wonder where?

And he cleared that bar so fast and high he's reached escape velocity. None of those people, which interestingly you've only singled out Democrats, have anywhere near the same level of issues with honesty as Trump does. I don't think any poltician, Democrat, Republican, or Green, lies with the kind of frequency and gusto as he does.

Of course having a fanbase like his helps.
