I don't think that is rational thought.

I do not understand what it is based on, as the article you sight is clearly a partisan political hit piece by a progressive liberal writer. No facts, just spin.

Sit at the bottom end of the table, but still get to partake of the caviar and Wellington. Now President Trump has turned the Wellington into rump roast. That's gotta hurt.
I agree with everything you said except I believe Trump is an evil con man.

you never know. they promised something

Hume is wrong, Trump getting rolled would have been giving in to Republican Congressional leaders attempt to stall action on his agenda for 18 or 6 months. Bet good old Britt didn't mention that did he?

Republican Congressional leaders are up to the same massive omnibus spending bill trick they pulled when Republicans took control of the Senate in the 2014 elections, they funded everything Obama wanted for the rest of his term. Then, surprise, surprise, Democrats were not interested in compromising on anything.

The 3 month deal puts the pressure on the Republican Congress to act on the tough fiscal issues like funding the wall, tax reform and spending cuts before the end of the year. Otherwise we will see establishment Republicans fritter away election victories.
