Mr. Trump’s Dangerous Indifference to Russia

To date, Donald Trump has shown no curiosity or displeasure regarding the Russian meddling in the 2016 election. He has never to my knowledge ever displayed even one iota of anger or exasperation with Moscow. On the contrary, since the inauguration Trump has strongly considered removing the US sanctions on Russia without demanding that Moscow cease its attacks on the US and also fulfill its obligations under the Minsk II agreement. Congress feels that it is necessary to pass Trump-proof Russia sanctions to prevent Trump from giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Excepting Trump, no US president in my lifetime, neither Democrat nor Republican, would ever consider rewarding an enemy that has attacked and will continue to attack. With Trump in the White House, there is no downside for continuing the attacks.

The hate filled NYT editorial board castigates Trump for perceived "indifference" to the the Russian boogeyman. According to the Hillary loving editorial board Trump ought to mirror their tantrum over the alleged Russian "meddling" in the election.

Of course the real motivation is to delegitimize Trump's Presidency. As reported by the NYT.

But it's crystal clear to the same NYT that hired a reporter fired for colluding with Hillary's campaign then assigned him to cover the Trump WH, Trump doesn't care about Russian interference despite the multiple anti Russian policies Trump has adopted.

Quote me one piece of solid evidence that the Russians hacked our elections in favor of Mr. President Trump.

Did they take an interest in out elections? Of course. All countries do that. When its in their interest, they should. We sure do. Sometimes to the extent of blowing up the other guy.

Now you want Mr, President Trump to make your case for you?

Democrats have been at this for 250 days, and so far all we have is repeats of the allegations. Often with new veiled tidbits added on, not no proof.

But when you got nothing, you run with what you got.

There is no evidence Russians meddled in our elections. There is evidence someone tried unsuccessfully to hack a variety of election related computer systems but no votes were changed. The spectacularly successful DNC hack was due more to Democrat indifference and incompetence than some sinister, sophisticated government backed hacking.

Shame on Trump for participating in the Democrat political jihad by not issuing a useless proclamation condemning Russia. Such a proclamation would instantly be transformed by the media into an admission Trump's Presidency was due to the Russians help. Moreover, it would just further the Russian disinformation campaign the Democrats are actively promoting.

What ought to be a bipartisan effort to improve cybersecurity has been politicized into an attack on the Trump Presidency.

We keep hearing that Russia, hacked or cyber attacked the election. has anyone heard any specifics? what exactly did the do when they hacked it?

Hacked or attacked is a pretty general term, but that's all we hear. After 6 months I would think someone would know something a little more specific.

Do they really think that the Russians wanted Trump over Clinton? Has that been proven? We know they did not affect the vote count, even Dems say that

Is there video and audio in hi def of it happening? If not it didn't happen.

Why show displeasure over something that never happened? I believe it was the NY Times that printed the fake news article that began this nonsense, and people who didn't like the election results just kept repeating it ad nauseum.

Hillary lost; it's time to get over it.

What do they mean when they say hacked? What actually happened? You and everyone else have no ideas. For all we know it was all done through Hillary and the DNC. But no one is giving any specifics.

In your words, please tell us what happened? you have had 6 months of investigating, you must have something more than "they hacked the election" in Democrat speak, please tell us what that means.

Or are you a Dem Bot that can only say "Russian's hacked the election" other than that phrase, no one knows nuthin'
