WA posted fake news merchants find the most obscure reasons to condemn Trump as "fact checking". Let's just slice the dat a in a partisan fun house mirror kind of way then preen how wonderful they are.

Was any of the information from the Washington Post inaccurate?

It's funny but Trump accuses the major newspapers and the media of being "fake news" but when any of us "fact check" the news media (not the opinion shows) it's very accurate.

Where we have a problem with "fake news" is what's coming out of the White House.

Think about this. When the federal courts reviewed the (Muslim) travel ban they wanted the executive branch to provide any, and I mean any, evidence that a threat existed to support the "finding" by the president to justify the travel ban. The government showed up with absolutely nothing except a copy of the executive order that doesn't establish anything as a fact (finding) that's required for the president's executive order under the law.

The law states, "When the president finds" that there's a threat but it takes "facts" to demonstrate that a threat actually exists and is not imaginary.

Not a single fact. Then the administration went on to claim that the court endangered the nation by blocking the executive order. How did the court endanger the nation? What threat has been identified by our intelligence agencies? Where are the "facts" that establish that the president isn't living in a delusional world of "fake news" of his own creation?

Trump was born in 1945.

Hitler died in 1945.

Coincidence? Maybe.

Mystery? Probably.

Hotel? Trivago.

So called fact checking by the fake news WaPo is nothing more than their editorializing and outright lies. Trump said he had accomplished a record amount in the first few weeks of his administration. The WaPo partisans admit there isn't a way to empirically measure this, fact check, but then criticizes it anyway. Trump brags about companies making new capital investments in the US. The WaPo opines they would have done it anyway, trying to pass that off as fact. Trump points out that the 9th Circuit is the most overturned court in the land. The WaPo spin merchants rehash to legitimize the crazy court, that is not fact checking. Trump points out his approval percentage of 55% according to Rasmussen. Undeniably true but the phony fact checkers don't accept the fact.

I am not going to dwell on each and every claim the hyperpartisan WaPo makes in the OP. Suffice to say examining a sample of their claims shows them to be engaged in partisan propaganda, nothing approaching actual fact checking. To the empty headed never Trump zealots facts don't matter anyway.

Oh wait, Trump said he got 306 electoral college votes but in the final voting he only got 304. The WaPo crows about this fact checking as if it's some major issue. Twonder faithless electors, that will show them.

The law gives the President authority to make findings of threats posed by immigration and travel without pleading to the courts for permission. As usual the 9th Circuit set itself up as a super legislature not to interpret the law but to render judgement on the President's decision. Clearly that is a violation of the separation of powers but it accomplishes through the courts what Democrats failed to achieve at the ballot box. Of course the never Trumpers never bother to examine the consequences of allowing a state standing to challenge foreign policy decisions on such punny grounds or the ability of the courts to demand the President justify national security decisions. Just like destroying the filibuster in the Senate the Left only cares for the immediate perceived gain.

That press conference was epic. Never have I seen a potus beat the crap outta the media like Trump did. He tore 'em a new one, and rightfully so.

Yer missing out Mikeyy, the media sh**fest is highly entertaining.
No matter what he says or does, it gets an immediate NEGATIVE reaction from most of the press.
It's almost as if they are waiting for the next thing to pounce on, kinda like a tossing a fake fur mouse towards a kitten.
Partisanship aside, forget watching Trump, watch the comical antics of the media.
